In this album of Matthew we see 3 different situations that deal with matters of the heart. Whether that is Pharisees caught up in tradition, outsiders who have great faith, or Jesus’ own followers who still struggled to see Jesus for who He really is. Throughout this album we see internal struggles that lead to greater understanding of how we can all look inside of ourselves and give our own hearts a check. At the heart of everything (pun intended) is the love that Jesus has for everyone. His concern will always be there, and nowhere else.
