At First Church of Christ, we believe that worship is not a separate event that occurs on Sunday mornings but is a continuous state. On Sundays, we simply gather as a body of believers to continue our worship through music led by the Worship Team.
We believe in praising Him through all avenues of the arts including varying instruments, styles, drama, and dance. A core value of First Church of Christ, our God-focused authentic worship is not driven by liturgy, a call to worship, or a specific style or methodology. It is led by all members of the worship team who bring their individual gifts into one so can we proclaim the gospel together through music as a community with joy and love to one another and to our God.
And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and said, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21
