Before the redemptive work of the cross, there were whispers of a coming Messiah. The Psalms are filled with devotion, pain, and hope. This hope is a prelude to redemption. As we look to the eternal reign, protection, and praise of Jesus, we get a foretaste of things to come. We begin to get a clearer picture of our King.
