Worship Ministry
At First Church of Christ, we believe that worship is not a separate event that occurs on Sunday mornings but is a continuous state. On Sundays, we simply gather as a body of believers to continue our worship through music led by the Worship Team.
We believe in praising Him through all avenues of the arts including varying instruments, styles, drama, and dance. A core value of First Church of Christ, our God-focused authentic worship is not driven by liturgy, a call to worship, or a specific style or methodology. It is led by all members of the worship team who bring their individual gifts into one so can we proclaim the gospel together through music as a community with joy and love to one another and to our God.
Service Ministry
Service Ministry teams are available to assist our visitors and church family here at FCC. Our volunteer staff work in many ways every Sunday morning. Greeters, Ushers, Communion/Offering Servers, Counters, and Home Communion Callers are all available to serve our congregation and to help make our worship gatherings flow smoothly and efficiently to provide a distraction-free worship environment. We look forward to serving you!
Women’s Ministry
The focus of the FCC Women’s Ministry is to be encouragers of one another. We desire to be women so firmly rooted in the Word of God that we become the first to lend a hand, the first to help carry a burden, the first to extend grace. We want to love like Jesus loves as we seek to encourage every woman in her daily personal walk. We are real women, perfectly imperfect, striving to live authentic lives that grow in obedience and flourish in faith. We believe in new beginnings, second chances and revivals of the heart… in the shelter of meaningful relationships with other women.
